We recently stayed
one night at the Historic Parker House in Arcadia,
FL. We've stayed
in many B&Bs around Florida and this one is by far
the very best in
every catagory. The room and the house itself were decorated
wonderfully. The room
was large and
bright...we stayed in the "Blue Room". Everything smelled great and
very clean. The food was "gourmet" style...and we want to return
to try the 5-course meal that is offered. I believe Kay and
Leonard (the owners) could start their own restaurant also...and they
would be very successful. We attended a
wedding in town and
the desserts at the wedding were made by Kay...they were to die for.
The landscaping around the house is also beautiful..very park-like,
quiet and colorful plants and flowers. We can't say enough good things.
We can't wait to
return and stay longer. The house is walking distance to downtown and all
the antique shops. We'll be back soon!! |

personally have had several private parties here and have
